MTV’s DJ Legacy has made a name for himself as one of the hottest and well sought after Open Format DJ’s in the industry. Born of Jamaican descent and groomed in American culture, DJ Legacy stays true to his roots by spinning an eclectic sound that swells the dance floor with high energy and great vibes.

In 1996, DJ Legacy, began a journey to not only make it on the DJ scene but to break through. His crew, the 5 Star Generals, began making a name for themselves on staple Atlanta radio stations and the club circuit. Soon Legacy was being recognized for his individual abilities on the turntables that began earning him national attention. Since the spring of 2005, DJ Legacy has been the National Tour DJ for MTV/mtvU and was featured on MTV’s “Making the Band Season Finale 3 & 4”, “Rock Paper Scissors”, and “Wild’N’Out” and continues to rock yearly MTV special events and tours such as Spring Break, VMA Tour, and Campus Invasion.

In an effort to redefine how audiences are entertained around the world, DJ Legacy has joined forces with DJ Rhythm as one-half of the World Famous Audio Junkeez, www.audiojunkeez.com. These two highly accomplished deejays have become the hottest party DJ tag team group of the 21st century. This dynamic team has opened up for such artists as The Roots, Steve Aoki, Fabulous, Jay-Z, Hoobastank, Talib Kweli, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, NERD, 311, Nappy Roots, Skillz, OAR, Common, LL Cool J, Fall Out Boy, Young Buck, Ying Yang Twins and many more.
